The 6 Best Bowling Alleys in Hong Kong for Great Nights Out
There’s really nothing you can’t like about bowling alleys. It’s a fun spot for friends, and you can even score tasty food and drinks on a student budget.
As someone who loves doing activities on the weekends, I thought it would be fun to share some of my favorite bowling alleys in Hong Kong. Find details for each venue below so you know what to expect!
Tiktiki Bowling Bar

With stunning tropical features, Tikitiki Bowling Bar will make you feel like you’re in Hawaii. Well, I haven’t been there so going here is the next best thing!
There are neon-lit bowling lanes, bumper options for kids (and bowling novices), and indoor and outdoor bars with live music every weekend.
Tikitiki boasts only 10 lanes, though, so booking during peak times is essential. However, if you’re pressed for time, visit during off-peak hours, from Wednesdays to Fridays from 12:00 to 4:00 PM.
As for pricing, it can start for as low as $99 per hour per lane for members during off-peak hours. During prime time, it can easily hit up to $299 – which is why you won’t find me here during the busy hours!
But really, you’ll love sipping cocktails served in adorable coconut shells while having a round of bowling. Plus, there’s a full-service kitchen dishing out tasty food if you ever get hungry.
Thunderbowl

We get it, sometimes you don’t want to trek to far-off bowling alleys. Thunderbowl is right in the Kowloon City district – Hung Hom, to be exact – so that’s a big plus for convenience.
They offer 22 sleek, modern ten-pin bowling lanes. If you’re keen on competition, they host tournaments and leagues. And if you’re looking to improve, they have beginner courses – highly recommend if you’re super new.
Additionally, in terms of facilities, they offer a VIP room with two lanes that can be partitioned off, perfect for hosting a private bowling party.
You can opt to bowl for an hour or pay per game, with costs typically starting for as low as $26 for students on weekdays. It’s $55 for adults on weekends.
A quick note: if you’re bowling with kids (or even beginners), Thunderbowl is your best bet, as they have bumper lanes to prevent those dreaded gutter balls.

Did you know there’s a bowling alley in Causeway Bay? Yep, it’s at the South China Athletic Association (SCAA) stadium. And this place makes it super easy and convenient to have a blast with family bowling in Hong Kong.
With a whopping 60 lanes and over 3,000 lockers up for grabs, there’s space for everyone. So, whether you’re throwing a birthday bash, doing some team bonding, or planning any big event, you’re all set here.
Sound like the perfect spot for your bowling needs? The catch is that entry to this venue requires membership, which costs around $120 annually.
Additionally, you’ll need to pay per game, with prices for ten-pin bowling starting at just $28 on weekdays and going up to $43 on weekends.
If you’re short on cash and can only pay for a full game, the good news is that you can tag along with a member friend to gain access to the bowling alleys. Note: kids under 8 aren’t allowed to bowl here.

It almost feels as though bowling alleys within shopping malls are dwindling, but here to revive those nostalgic vibes is Belair Bowling Centre.
I like that even though they’re kind of hidden (the place doesn’t have a sign outside, so it’s really easy to miss), they still offer everything you need.
Here, you’ll find 28 standard lanes – four with bumpers for kids or adults who have trouble keeping the ball out of the gutter (me included).
There are also three pool tables, and a café dishing out burgers, sandwiches, and noodles all day long. You won’t be bowling on an empty stomach here, that’s for sure!
It’s $30 per game here, but if you’re a student, you’ll get a discount – just remember to bring your student card along.
Magic Fun Bowling World

With 22 international standard-sized lanes and a café serving up tasty HK-style food at affordable prices, Magic Fun Bowling World is the perfect spot for a day out with friends or family.
Price-wise, you’ll find it quite reasonable to play here, with lane rental (per game) ranging from $32 to $48 for adults and $22 to $30 for students.
Not to mention, there’s plenty more to do besides bowling. You can venture over to the billiards room for a game of pool or head to the large darts zone, fully equipped with electronic dart boards.
The venue also hosts a variety of in-house competitions throughout the year, mostly centered around bowling. So, if you’re looking to amp up your bowling game, it’s just the right place to be.
