Pros

  • Two easy-to-find locations
  • Offers dozens of toppings and meal options
  • Has gluten-free, allergen-free, and raw offers

Cons

  • Service may take a while during rushes

Treehouse is a vegetarian restaurant in Hong Kong offering sourdough flatbread, bowls, pizza, and other meals.

Since its establishment in 2019, the restaurant has grown and extended its services to two locations: one in H Code and another branch in Taikoo Place, Quarry Bay.

One of the things we like about Treehouse is its menu which is composed of only whole, organic foods and gluten-free, allergy-free, and raw options.

The food quality and taste are superb, but what we like best about the food they serve is its variety. You can choose from dozens of toppings, drinks, and sweets to match your palate.

Another strength of Treehouse is its service which allows for in-store orders and deliveries. You can also call ahead of time and pick it up in-store when you’re ready.

We also appreciate the staff’s friendliness and courtesy.

We had the chance to talk to Treehouse’s other customers, and they praised the great-tasting food, the ambience of the restaurant, and the huge portion size, all adding up to great value for money.

However, it is essential to note that the restaurant gets packed during the lunch rush. As such, you might want to take advantage of other ordering options, as there may be a delay before you get your order.

Pros

  • Comfortable ambience within restaurant
  • Accessible location
  • Uses cage-free eggs
  • Various wines available

Cons

  • Relatively limited menu
  • Flavours can be repetitive

VEDA is a vegetarian restaurant in Hong Kong located within OVOLO Hotel. The restaurant offers healthy dishes, primarily Indian food.

One of the strengths of VEDA comes in its food, which is delicious and fascinating. We believe that the effort the staff put into each meal shows with every order.

However, there are a few downsides when it comes to the restaurant’s dishes. The main disadvantage is their limited selection of meals on the menu, which varies for breakfast, brunch, and lunch.

Another drawback comes from the repetitiveness of some flavours, especially for different menu pieces that use similar ingredients.

Other than these, the food is delicious, presented well, and uses high-quality ingredients, evident in their texture and taste.

The breakfast meals also include a drink of your choice and the juice of the day, which is a plus.

In addition, we also like VEDA’s accessibility. The restaurant and hotel itself are only a few minutes away from Central Station.

We enquired about other customers that visited VEDA, and they praised the restaurant for its delicious food, comfortable yet bright ambience, and kind, courteous staff.

Others also praised VEDA for the value for money they offer. Although the food is on the expensive side, we believe its other qualities more than make up for the cost.

  • Bright, comfortable ambience

Cons

  • Highly expensive food

Miss Lee is a vegetarian restaurant in Hong Kong that combines Western and Asian cooking techniques to deliver delicious food.

Entering the restaurant is quite an experience, as you are welcomed by a bright and comfortable venue.

The ambience of Miss Lee combines the vintage feel of old diners and the vivid colours of modern aesthetics, which in combination feel like a breath of fresh air.

Aside from the venue, another strength of Miss Lee comes in its food, primarily from the selection they offer.

The restaurant offers a diverse menu that varies depending on the time of day. The food they have are mainly Chinese dishes, including variations of traditional soups, pastries, fried rice, and noodles.

However, it is essential to note that the food on Miss Lee’s menu can be expensive, as they all start at $380 per person. If you would like to add food, drinks, and other orders, you could rack up an extensive bill.

We had the chance to talk to other customers, and they had mixed opinions about Miss Lee’s dishes. Some say their meal was absolutely delicious, while others said it was okay, with some food lacking flavour.

Cons

Woodlands is a vegetarian restaurant in Hong Kong with locations in Kowloon and Wan Chai.

One of the things we like about Woodlands is the authentic Indian vegetarian food they serve. The food tastes great, the ingredients are fresh, and the presentation is decent.

However, the food’s biggest strength comes in its variety. Woodlands’s menu consists of a diversity of options, with dozens of soups, curries, noodles, dosa, thali, and other meals to choose from.

Woodlands also offers fresh juices and delicious desserts, which is a plus.

Another aspect we like about the restaurant is its accessibility. Aside from having two shops that are open daily, Woodlands also allows pick-ups and provides a delivery service so you can have fresh food as conveniently as possible.

However, it is essential to note that the restaurants close at 3:30 PM and reopen three hours later for dinner, so it is best to plan your visit with this in mind.

We talked to other customers, and they said they liked the delicious and wide variety of food and the friendly staff’s service. However, they took notice of how dirty the restaurant can be at times.

The complaints range from being given napkins with bugs and a dirty mirror in the washroom. Other than this, they said their overall experience was good.

  • Offers ready-to-go meals
  • Most food are affordable

Cons

  • Relatively short operating hours

Fresca is a vegetarian restaurant and cafe that serves ready-to-go meals, which are perfect for those with hectic schedules. The food they serve is a mix of Cantonese and Western food, making things delicious and exciting.

One of Fresca’s strengths comes in its menu. You can pick from a variety of soups, pastries, and beverages, all of which are healthy and delightful.

They also offer customizable salads, with you getting the choice from a variety of toppings that change frequently.

The food on Fresca’s menu is relatively affordable, too, which is a plus. You could also purchase their package deals, allowing you to save more.

We also appreciate the restaurant’s daily discounts starting at 3:00 PM, an hour before they close. During this time, all of their products are 50% off.

However, it is essential to note that Fresca’s operating hours are relatively shorter compared to other restaurants, as they close at 4 PM and do not open on Sundays.

We talked to Fresca’s other clients, and they said they enjoyed the cafe’s food, the friendly staff, and the impeccable service.

Another person we interviewed also complimented the restaurant’s second floor, which houses a space for people to eat and talk with friends. Fresca’s top floor is homely and comfortable, matching the restaurant’s overall vibe.
