On top of that, we saw how hands-on they are when dealing with customers. For instance, they respond quickly to customer feedback, oftentimes dealing with negative reviews with assurances and questions on how they can mend the situation.

When we observed their process, we noted how good they were with electrical repairs too. Of course, that’s just a tiny bonus on top of their smooth process – hassle-free initial consultation, streamlined planning, and efficient final touches.

The designs they do are functional and easy on the eyes. From painting and flooring to polishing and waxing, everything is clean and maximized.

While transparency in pricing could be improved, at least Papabo is responsive (they do give more detailed quotes as the project progresses). Communication with them is as easy as cake.

What truly won us over, though, is their dedication to collaboration. Throughout the process, Leehar Home Ltd. is attentive enough to listen to feedback and flexible enough to make on-the-spot changes should the client want to include a few bells and whistles.

Also, accessibility is great with them from the get-go. Their user-friendly website makes reaching out a breeze, plus, they have an English-speaking team, which is great for communication (we have no issues with non-English speaking teams, though!).

Their efficient turnaround time is also something we can’t forget. Despite their meticulous approach, they deliver results promptly – they yet to have any issues of delay which is a significant plus.

SWDesign is the kind of team you’ll want to hire if you want something more premium. They lean more toward contemporary, clean modern designs which might be something you’re into if you want practical spaces.

There are two major things that this team gives high attention to: sustainability and materials. Upon reviewing their work, we saw how efficiently they source their materials and how well they integrate each object as a functioning piece.

However, we’re a bit disappointed with their pricing. They can’t give clear pricing upfront. To be fair, it might be because they’re an extremely customized service, so you have to dedicate quite some time to even get a solid price list.

On the other hand, you may also find it helpful that the business offers a wide range of custom home design services. That means reducing the need to look for other vendors if you want a complete home overhaul.

Additionally, they work in commercial spaces too. So, if you’re a business, at least you’ll know there’s a contractor that specializes in your needs.

CoDECO Technology Ltd has been steadily gaining acclaim in Hong Kong’s renovation scene. That’s why we were eager to explore their services after hearing rave reviews from numerous sources.

Their website proudly showcases an array of successful projects, including their specialty in basement remodeling. And so what initially appeared as a bold claim was quickly validated by their extensive portfolio, spanning over 3,300 projects since their establishment in 2013.

Now, they don’t actually do the work here; instead, they act as a third party, linking you up with skilled contractors and designers. 

The good side to that is that you have access to a large pool of remodeling experts. The downside is the lack of quality control – plus CoDECO pairs a contractor with you, giving you limited room to make the choice yourself.

At least, that may be great for clients who need something quick. Say, for instance, an unfinished project that needs another contractor to take over (they do that here, by the way!).

Fortunately, once they’re on board, you can trust that the team is fully committed. The quality of work and communication is undeniable – we can even say theirs is more remarkable than contractors who exclusively do basement renovations.  

While Anji Connell Interior Design’s dedication to quality is commendable, their pricing may not always be the most competitive. It’s worth considering this aspect if budget is a primary concern for your basement renovation project.
