Pros

  • Fully-furnished
  • Highly accessible to public and private transport
  • Close to a mall and other shops

Cons

  • Rent is highly expensive

Victoria Harbour Residence is a luxurious serviced apartment in Hong Kong. With just one visit, you will see how beautiful the premises are with a breathtaking panoramic view of the harbour.

Aside from aesthetics, Victoria Harbour Residence is also a great option because of its amenities. Residents can choose their apartment type, ranging from a 1-bedroom flat to a 3-bedroom residence.

Each flat is fully furnished and includes a widescreen TV, a safe, washing machines, and more.

The apartments also have Bluetooth devices and home automation systems. All of these items, in addition to the responsive housekeeping, made our stay a lot more convenient.

We also liked how Victoria Harbour Residences had everything we needed, as it was right atop a mall. Not only can you purchase what you need, but you can also wine and dine in various restaurants.

However, what we like best about the place is its accessibility. Victoria Harbour Residences is close to the North Point Station, making it easy for people to go to different stations by train.

Thanks to the Central – Wan Chai Bypass and Island Eastern Corridor Link, residents can also go to Central and back via a few minutes’ drive.

As expected, all of these advantages come at quite a steep price. The rent of an apartment at Victoria Harbour Residence starts at around $40,000 a month.

Nevertheless, if you have the budget and wish to stay at a luxurious home, then Victoria Harbour Residences may be a good match for you.

Pros

  • Free shuttle from the premises to Central and back
  • On-site cafe and restaurant
  • All necessities covered

Cons

  • Limited apartments

Two MacDonnell Road is a hotel and apartment in Hong Kong. Although the hotel rooms largely outnumber the flats, some rooms still allow for extended stays.

The apartments have an impeccable view of the city and garden. It has a master bedroom with a queen-sized bed, a guest room with a double bed, and complete furniture, including a refrigerator and freezer.

We also appreciate other amenities that Two MacDonnell Road has, including a gym, 24-hour security and reception services, and free Wi-Fi in all corners of the premises.

Most noteworthy in our opinion is the on-site restaurant called Cafe Bar on 8. The restaurant serves not only coffee but also breakfast, lunch, and dinner while giving you a pretty view of the mountainside.

We also like how accessible the place is. It is close to a train station and only a few minutes from Central, Causeway Bay, and Admiralty.

In addition, the hotel provides a free shuttle service that travels its route on schedule. This service makes travelling immensely convenient for residents who wish to go to and from Central for no cost at all.

Two MacDonnell Road is also close to a supermarket, which made our stay much more convenient.

The pricing of Two MacDonnell Road is pretty high but not as expensive as other serviced apartments. If you’re looking for a fully-furnished apartment without breaking your budget too much, this apartment hotel is a good match for you.

Pros

  • Affordable rent
  • Fully-furnished
  • Discounts for stays longer than 3 months

Cons

  • Limited apartment choices at different locations
  • No pets allowed

Tane Residence offers service apartments in Hong Kong. With prices starting at $10,000 a month and reaching up to $18,000, Tane Residence provides some of the most budget-friendly, fully furnished flats in Hong Kong.

Aside from its pricing, another of Tane Residence’s advantages is that its apartments are located in different locations. As such, you get more freedom to choose where you want to live compared to other flats in large buildings.

Tane Residence flats are in convenient locations in Central, the Soho district, Bonham Strand, and Poplar. Most of them are close to public transportation, while others are nearer to shops where you can purchase necessities.

Despite being in different locations,  the apartments are pretty much the same. Most of them are 1-bedroom apartments furnished with everything you need.

Aside from cooking utensils and appliances, each place has free high-speed Wi-Fi, a washing machine and dryer, and more.

We also like how each flat is eligible for general cleaning, linen changing, and towel replacement every week, which keeps your place clean and comfortable without much effort.

However, if you are a pet owner, Tane Residence is not for you. They are one of the few apartments that explicitly ban pets on the premises.

Nevertheless, if you are looking for a small, budget-friendly yet cosy apartment in Hong Kong, Tane Residence is a place worth considering.

Pros

  • Affordable rent
  • Fully furnished
  • Close to attractions and malls

Cons

  • Amenities cover mostly essentials

218 Apartment allows for short-term and long-term stays for its residents.

What we like best about the 218 Apartment is its accessibility. The premises is a 20-minute walk away from the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibit Centre and a 4-minute walk to the MTR Wan Chai Station.

It is also close to the Hong Kong International Airport and numerous malls and attractions.

Surrounded by roads, the premises can get noisy at times due to the vehicles passing by. However, the sounds do not permeate the rooms too much, especially on the upper floors.

The apartment spaces combine modern design with a comfortable atmosphere. Renters get unlimited internet, daily housekeeping, and 24-hour concierge and security services.

The rooms are also fully furnished and include a DVD player and TV, a safe, a refrigerator, and cooking equipment such as an oven.

Despite not having more facilities like other high-end serviced apartments, 218 Apartment covers the essentials and allows for comfortable living.

The costs are also more affordable compared to more luxurious options. The monthly rent for each of its 59 different units, utilities included, starts at $19,200.

With that in mind, we believe 218 Apartment is a perfect match for those looking for a comfortable, hotel-like place to stay, trading luxuries for a cosy feel.

Pros

  • Luxurious amenities and facilities
  • Completely furnished rooms

Cons

  • Rent is expensive

EAST Residences offers a variety of apartments in Hong Kong, ranging from small suites to studio apartments and penthouses. Although the rent is steep, starting at around $40,000 a month, we believe that your stay is worth every penny.

What we like most about EAST Residences’ flats is their amenities.

The apartments are furnished with everything you need, from a smart TV, free Wi-Fi, and all kinds of cooking equipment such as an oven, a microwave, and other glassware and utensils. All you would have to do is move in.

The apartments let in a lot of natural light, which kept the premises bright even without much lighting. When it came to features, we found during our stay that there is little difference between the penthouses and the studio apartments.

The penthouses had similar amenities plus a little more, including a steam generator in the bedroom, a Nespresso Coffee machine, and a built-in wine cellar. Other than these luxuries, they were mostly the same.

In addition, the premises also has a 24-hour gym, a lounge for socializing, a beautiful terrace overlooking the lovely neighbourhood, and private dining options.

We also like how accessible the apartment is. EAST Residences is only a walking distance away from the Quarry Bay MTR Station, a 45-minute drive away from an airport, and a 10-minute walk away from a shopping centre.

Overall, EAST Residences’ amenities, ease of access, and multiple lodging options earn them a spot on our list despite their high price.
