The crew also teaches their customers how to sail and manage a yacht, which is a plus. In doing so, the staff makes ship renting more accessible and beginner-friendly.

Overall, we believe that Saffron Cruises is the perfect match for people new to yacht rentals and those who wish to learn the ropes, intending to one day man their personal ships.

Hong Kong Yachting is a company that offers ship and yacht rentals in Hong Kong. Although it has spent over a decade in the industry, Hong Kong Yachting’s experience is not its biggest strength.

One of Hong Kong Yachting’s primary strengths is its fleet of 7 ships. These ships range in size and amenities and are often available through various packages.

The company also offers services aboard their yachts, including lunch or dinner, speedboat rentals, hiring a waitress, and more. 

However, even without these optional services, the ships have enough amenities that will make your trip out at sea more comfortable, such as ice boxes, outdoor showers, and drinks.

We appreciate Hong Kong Yachting’s numerous packages since they give customers more flexibility. Clients can rent a ship for as short as 3 to 6 hours.

Customers can also rent a yacht overnight, but they must inquire beforehand.

The company also has a package that teaches sailing novices how to run their ships, which we do like.

However, it is necessary to note that most yacht rentals do not go past 7:00 PM, so those looking for late-night cruises on the sea may find this disadvantageous.

Holimood is a platform established in 2014 that offers different services, such as camping trips and ship rentals in Hong Kong. Despite the company’s youth, it has developed enough strengths that make it worth considering.

One of Holimood’s strengths is its numerous day and night charters for yachts. The company offers a variety of ships for customers to rent and spend a day in.

These yacht rental packages are often offered per head and are relatively affordable, with prices starting at around $12,000. 

What we like best about these rental packages is that they include numerous features and free amenities,  such as inflatable slides, floating noodles, and karaoke and sound systems. These perks make the packages as complete and fun as possible.

Customers can also add optional amenities and activities, such as extra food and alcoholic drinks, speedboat rentals, wakeboarding, water trampolines, and more.

However, what we dislike is that the price for these services varies depending on the date on which you rent the ship. The price changes are pretty substantial, increasing or decreasing by around $1,000 each month, so it is necessary to keep an eye on when you want to book.

Overall, we believe that Holimood’s yacht rentals are the perfect match for those looking for an affordable ship with as many amenities and equipment included as possible.

Breakaway Luxury Yachting is a yacht rental service in Hong Kong with multiple noteworthy perks.

One of Breakaway’s biggest strengths is its ship. At first glance, the company seems to be at a disadvantage since it only has one ship, aptly named the Breakaway.

However, this one ship is full of features. The yacht is a 48ft luxury yacht that can fit up to 23 passengers.

It has an espresso machine, a bedroom with air-conditioning, an inflatable suntanning platform, a cooler, a kayak, and more.

The Breakaway uses this ship to offer its multiple packages that start at around $12,450 for 15 people.

During our trip, we enjoyed the delicious food and appreciated the professional crew that was helpful and patient throughout the entire trip. We also liked how pristine and luxurious the ship was when we boarded.

M Yachts is a company that offers numerous yacht rentals in Hong Kong, Thailand, and other regions around the world. 

One of the company’s biggest strengths is its yachts. M Yachts has an impressive fleet of ships worldwide that number over 80.

Over a dozen of these ships, which vary in size and features, are in Hong Kong. These yachts can fit anywhere from 8 to 40 guests and have different amenities, such as floating mats, bars, and double cabins.

We appreciate that M Yachts’ ships can be rented for 4 or 8 hours, giving customers more flexibility in both time and budget. 

However, what we believe to be M Yachts’ most significant disadvantage comes with its pricing. 

The most affordable package that the company has is its smallest ship, which can fit eight people. The cost to rent this small yacht is $7,000 for four hours and $12,000 for eight.

Larger ships get significantly more expensive, some even starting at $35,000 for a four-hour rental.

During our trip, we were greeted by M Yachts’ friendly staff that helped us board the luxurious yachts. We appreciated how professional and responsive they were when it came to our questions.
