Pros

  • Beautiful architecture
  • Good location in Wan Chai, an affluent district for dining and nightlife

Cons

  • Internet connection tends to waver

The Luna is located in the neighbourhood of Wan Chai, and it offers a total of 105 fully furnished apartments with varying layouts and dimensions. It has a studio pad, one-bedroom units, deluxe one-bedroom units, two-bedroom units, and even a penthouse – all with their own balcony.

Taking a first look at The Luna, we couldn’t help but adore the tower’s facade that exudes contemporary luxury.

We liked how easily accessible the apartment is, sitting atop two-storeys of retail and dining options. There’s even a clubhouse area with a free outdoor gym and leisure area for tenants.

The unit itself was impeccable, with full-height windows that gleamed natural light in the daytime. And from our room, we could see the surrounding city skyline and mountainscapes.

Staying in and cooking instead? We also enjoyed using the kitchen that came with white countertops and complete amenities, and making meals was a whole experience in itself when you get to look out the wide windows.

Apart from all that, the staff are also very helpful and pleasant, and the housekeeping services were superb.

If you check out their website, you’ll see their special discounts for selected units. So we think it’s a good deal, especially for a pretty much high-end serviced apartment in a lovely neighbourhood.

Pros

  • Good value for money
  • Fairly priced units
  • Flexible leasing terms

Cons

  • Ongoing renovation in the building can get too loud

The Bauhinia is located at the MTR Sheung Wan Station. It has 118 serviced suites and offers various units, from studio suites to 1- to 4-bedroom units, catering to the different needs of visitors and families.

Its location gives tenants a stunning view of the harbour from their rooms and easy access to the Hong Kong Airport Express Station, Sheung Wan MTR Station, and the Macau Ferry Terminal, IFC, The Center, Cosco Tower, Lan Kwai Fong.

But what we found most remarkable was how practically priced their rooms were for the amenities and services that came along with it.

On top of that, they don’t require security deposit and leasing terms are flexible. We think it’s a good deal especially if you’re looking for a new place to move into as soon as possible.

Besides its good location in the metro, units are also fully furnished with basically anything we could need during our stay. The kitchen came with a stove, microwave, heater, fridge – you name it.

The in-house staff are also very nice and helpful, making our stay even more pleasant. And maybe the only thing we disliked was the constant renovation taking place in the building.

It can get disturbing when the construction gets too loud and you feel like needing to go out instead of staying in for a day.

But above all, in terms of value and practicality, The Bauhinia is one of our recommended serviced apartments should you need one.

Pros

  • Excellent location in Sheung Wan
  • Outstanding and attentive staff

Cons

  • Units are only good for 3 people max
  • Only has 55 apartment units available

The Mercer is situated within Hong Kong’s transport hub in Sheung Wan, where you can get a touch of multicultural attractions in the neighbourhood’s maze of food and retail shops, both old and new.

With 55 apartments available for a comfortable stay, you can choose from studio pads, one-bedroom units, and suites. Although their units would be more sufficient for couples rather than a family of three or more.

We liked that they have the basic amenities you would need for a long-term stay, from the gym to a common launderette.

The units are a bit smaller compared to other apartments, but for us, it’s really the building’s location that sets it apart from the others.

We found that there’s plenty to eat around the area, and for business purposes, we could easily navigate our way through Hong Kong’s CBD.

The breakfast was great, with a large selection of American, European, and Asian food, but we suggest going there earlier since it can get packed easily.

Of course, the staff were also very helpful. They made our stay quite delightful with how friendly they were, adding to the place’s charm.

Overall, we would suggest The Mercer for a group of two, or a small family.

Pros

  • Virtually has complete amenities and facilities
  • Booking is very easy
  • Staff are highly professional and friendly

Cons

  • More expensive than other serviced apartments
  • May be impractical for a long-term stay

Harbour Grand Hong Kong was one of the fancier places we’ve been to, and true to its name, the whole experience was indeed grand.

The hotel itself is massive, housing a total of 828 rooms that feature both short- and long-term stays. Every room and suite is fully furnished with its own range of amenities.

Staying in their serviced suites was a treat in itself. The Executive Harbour View Suite is a corner room, giving us a majestic view of the Victoria Harbour from two perspectives.

The suite had everything we could possibly need for a homey stay that also catered to business with the 2-metre long workstation.

We’d always head to the health club on the 3rd floor where there was always a full-time trainer ready to assist us with the machines. Outside, there’s the vast swimming pool that spans across 27 metres.

Out of all their facilities, what we found to be our favourite was the business centre located on the ground floor. It made it easier for us to continue working with all the business facilities and equipment that came with it.

Tenants have access to secretarial services, photocopying, typing, laser printing, and even courier and postal services for 24 hours all week.

Of course, a long-term stay at the Harbour Grand Hong Kong won’t be inexpensive, but if you’re looking for a more luxurious option, then we would highly suggest booking here for your stay.

Pros

  • 24 hour service
  • Variety of amenities
  • Great location

Cons

  • Complaints about uncomfortable beds

Little Tai Hang Hotel & Service Apartments has a cluster of three buildings located in the heart of Hong Kong.

The place has numerous amenities and services like high speed wifi, daily maid service, professional laundry and dry-cleaning services, a multi-function room, a lounge and more.

We think they have the most beautiful rooms to choose from. They have a studio, one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and a penthouse with either a garden view or a harbour view.

The interiors of the room are incredible with a great space, layout and design.

Many find the rooms to be great as well, but we’ve heard about complaints regarding their uncomfortable beds in the past.

Its location is also great as it is only a few minutes walk from the tram and MTR stations. We love how easy it is to get around and go to the commercial establishments it’s surrounded with.

Overall, we recommend this place!

We like that their apartments are fully- furnished and serviced along with daily housekeeping procedures done to ensure that clients get to enjoy their time leisurely well while at the same time being secure of their belongings as well.

Furthermore, they also have versatile contract terms that can be customized in accordance with the client’s needs and preferences along with exclusive access to the Pacific Club and its facilities.

Cons

S-RESIDENCE is a service apartment conveniently located in Kennedy Town, Hong Kong. It’s location make sit just a few minutes away from Central.

What we find nice about its location is its sea and park views, as well as the fact that it’s a pet-friendly place.

They offer monthly short, medium, and long-term stays. No matter how long you need a place in Hong Kong, they can be your temporary place to go to.

The place is reminiscent of old Hong Kong while adapting to the modern day designs and technology. Here, you’ll get the best of both old and modern Hong Kong.

We think you’ll be pleased with their service here. Their staff is friendly, helpful and responsive.

Some of their amenities include cleaning and high speed Wi-Fi, and they pretty much have everything you would need.

It’s a really great place overall and the only downside is that there’s no elevator. But hey, at least you can get some exercise in.
