Pros
- Open daily
- Houses numerous facilities and equipment
- Offers varied, bespoke services
Cons
- Services are expensive
MiraSpa is a spa in Hong Kong located inside The Mira, a hotel. The spa, however, does not require you to book a room before giving you access to their services.
With an area of 18,000 square feet, MiraSpa is perhaps one of the largest spas in Hong Kong, and we believe this is where most of its strengths stem.
This size allows the spa to house a wide variety of facilities, which include an infinity edge pool, multiple saunas, a fitness centre, and more.
Also, the spa offers different services and packages, such as numerous facials, massages, and treatments. We like that the MiraSpa allows for complete customization, giving you control of which procedures you want to receive.
With these in mind, it may come as no surprise that MiraSpa’s services are on the more expensive side.
A day pass that gives you access to all their facilities and some of their services costs $500. Sadly, this price does not include drinks, special services, and other add-ons.
Still, some customers we interviewed say the price is well worth it. They said they enjoyed the staff’s courtesy and proficient work and the variety of services available.
On our visit, we also noted how comfortable, clean, and relaxing the place was. Overall, we believe MiraSpa is a great place to get pampered, especially if you can afford it.

Pros
- Open daily, including holidays
- Wide variety of massage and services
Cons
- Services are expensive
L’Occitane was originally a French brand that sold skincare, bath, and hair products. However, they also have a few locations in different countries, with a flagship spa in Hong Kong.
The first thing we liked about L’Occitane was its facilities. The moment you enter, you will be greeted by a professional and courteous staff and see a clean, comfortable place with a luxurious atmosphere.
However, what we like best about L’Occitane is its range of services. The spa offers a variety of facials, body scrubs, and massages.
They also offer signature treatment packages they say help you experience Provence through your senses.
The spa uses its own products during these procedures. We enjoyed the different scents L’Occitane uses, which enhance the comfortable and relaxing ambience.
However, behind this diversity of quality services is a steep price. Most of the procedures L’Occitane offers cost upwards of $1,000, which may not be ideal if you are on a budget.
We had the chance to talk to some of their clients, which noted similar things we did. Most of the people we conversed with praised the staff’s great work while others liked the venue best.
Although our own appointments finished without a hitch, other customers we talked to reported some issues worth looking out for. Some clients said that L’Occitane has booking issues, such as missing appointment slots or rushed procedures just so they can accommodate the next customer.
Despite this, we still believe that L’Occitane is a great place to relax and unwind, especially if you enjoy aromatherapy.

Pros
- Long opening hours daily
- Convenient location
- Wide variety of services
Cons
- By appointment only
Elu Spa is one of the most accessible spas in Hong Kong since it’s right at the heart of the city. Despite the extravagant price of its services, Elu Spa has numerous redeeming qualities that make it worth considering.
Entering the spa, we saw how luxurious yet neat and comfortable the place was. Elu Spa felt entirely different from the area surrounding it.
Another thing we like is the diversity of the spa’s services. Elu Spa offers twelve massages, nine different facials, and waxing treatments for both men and women.
These special packages include a couple’s massage and a massage for pregnant women. However, we liked the 120-minute signature indulgence package that included massage therapy and a facial.
We tried out some of their massage services, and they were great. The massage therapist used just the right amount of pressure to alleviate pain without causing discomfort.
The therapist also gave us the choice of which oils and scents to use, which is definitely a plus.
The procedures and the ambience combined make you feel relaxed and rejuvenated. We talked to the spa’s previous customers, and they noted the same things we did.
Another of the spa’s strengths is its long operating hours. However, you have to set an appointment beforehand, as walk-ins aren’t accepted at the moment.
Overall, we believe Elu Spa’s range of quality services, accessibility, and ambience make the steep price worth every penny.

Pros
- Long opening hours on weekends
- Long list of services
- Unique cozy interior
Cons
- Most expensive services
The Peninsula Spa is a 5-star spa in Hong Kong. With that in mind, it should come as no surprise that they have some of the most expensive services out of their competitors.
However, you may find some of their qualities well worth the price.
The first thing we like about The Peninsula is its lavish interior and exceptional ambience. The spa combines traditional Chinese elements with a contemporary design.
The facilities also have a beautiful view of the harbour, which makes the spa a completely different place juxtaposed to the busy city surrounding it. A customer we interviewed even went so far as to call it an “indoor paradise.”
Another strength that The Peninsula has is its services. The spa offers dozens of services that help make your skin and body feel better.
These services often include a head-to-toe massage, exfoliation, and other procedures that make you feel revitalized. Of course, due to the extreme attention to detail, you can expect these services to have a price as luxurious as the spa’s interior.
The most affordable service that The Peninsula has cost $700 while other massages reach anywhere from $1.600 to $7,000.
With that in mind, we believe that The Peninsula is one of the best places in Hong Kong to be pampered in if you can afford it.

Pros
- FDA Approved Equipment
- Sourced and Imported Supplies
- Holistic Approach
Cons
- Prices are not indicated on their website
MediSpa Health and Wellness is a spa service provider that offers a range of aesthetic, health, and wellness treatments.
We prefer them over others because the spa only utilizes professional equipment that has received approval from the FDA (Food and Drug Administration). You are safe knowing that all their equipment meets the necessary safety and quality standards.
A benefit in working with them is that they both source and import supplies from around the world. Obtaining quality products shows how much dedicated they are to delivering effective and reliable treatments.
Aside from these, another reason why we like them is that they aim to address not only aesthetic concerns but also overall health and wellness needs.
Unlike others, they incorporate services that go beyond superficial beauty treatments, such as Korean Hydro injection, Fractional Radiofrequency, and Oxygen Facial. With them, you will be provided with a more comprehensive and holistic approach to their well-being.
Do take note that their website lacks specific details about pricing for the different services they have which is not that beneficial for clients seeking immediate information.

Pros
- Mindful and Serene Atmosphere
- Sensory Deprivation Experience
- Convenient Location and Friendly Staff
Cons
Float Co. is described as a beacon of serenity for mindful explorers.
The spa provides a tranquil and peaceful environment, allowing patrons to disconnect from the chaotic world and immerse themselves in a serene atmosphere conducive to relaxation.
The spa offers a rejuvenating practice known as floating, where individuals float effortlessly in a pod filled with warm Epsom salt water.
This sensory deprivation experience allows patrons to disconnect from external stimuli, providing a unique opportunity to focus on inner self-reflection and mindfulness.
We like that they offer a different way of relaxation, compared to other spas that offer massages and the like.
Float Co. is conveniently located off the Mid-Levels escalator on Caine Road. The spa’s accessibility adds to the overall positive experience.
We also find that their friendly and knowledgeable staff contribute to a welcoming atmosphere, ensuring patrons feel comfortable and supported throughout their visit.
