In the dentist’s chair, you will have your teeth covered in a whitening gel and have intense light react with it. We like how the process only takes around an hour, making the appointment quick and convenient.

We also like how Craft Dental does not require prior appointments before conducting the treatment, making it more affordable.

Bayside Dental is a dental clinic established in 2011. Although the clinic is young, they have certain advantages making it worth considering for your next trip.

One of these advantages is its roster of dentists and practitioners. Bayside Dental’s team is composed of local and expat dentists with certifications from Hong Kong and abroad.

These dentists were very professional and detailed when answering our queries. One of their previous clients even noted that the practitioners were great and gentle around kids, which translated to how careful they were with us.

The dentists would first suggest thorough teeth cleaning before recommending bleaching as a process. The bleaching took around two hours, which is quite a long wait, but the clean, comfortable office overlooking the bay made it bearable.

We also liked how Bayside Dental offers teeth-whitening kits for at-home self-service that require getting an impression of your teeth. 

However, what makes the clinic’s at-home kits different is their differing concentrations of peroxide, which gives clients a choice on how strong and effective they want their package to be.

On our visit, Dr Tong welcomed us warmly. We appreciated his responsiveness and his meticulousness when it came to the procedure. 

He was also careful and gentle, which is a plus.

Dr Tong’s in-office teeth whitening service uses ultraviolet light to bleach the teeth in a short amount of time. Although it requires prior checkups, the process could be accomplished in as fast as 45 minutes, making it more convenient.

Other than Dr Tong’s services, we also appreciate how accessible his office is. The clinic has a bus stop nearby and is only a few-minute walk away from the Central MTR D2 Exit.

We had the chance to talk to some of Dr Tong’s previous clients, and they said they liked how quick, friendly, and efficient he is, albeit his services can often cost more than other dentists in Hong Kong.

On our visit, we were greeted by friendly staff and amicable dentists that responded to all our questions. We appreciate how pristine and comfortable their clinic is, which made it easy for us to feel at ease.

We also appreciate how gentle the dentists were when working on our mouths. Other customers we asked noted this, too, saying it felt like a spa rather than a dentist appointment.
